The CV axle? Pretty straight forward...6 bolts for the axle on the Diff, 1 36mm nut on the hub side and you can maneuver it out in most cases without doing much else. Of course you will need to remove the tire. If no one else can post a write-up, i might be able to do one from alldatadiy.com . That site is worth it though. Only like $14.95 or so a year...might be 19.95 the first year, but they do run deals on more than one year.

I just took mine out today it also helps to undo the lower shock bolt and remove the lower shock bracket from the lower control arm and I couldn't get it out till I took off the f/diff skid plate.

Yup no need to remove the tire.
Remove the skide plate.
6 bolts 15 mm socket for the axle on the Diff.
Remove centre cap and tin cover under the centre cap.
Remove 36mm or 1 3/8 socket for nut on the hub side.
21 mm socket and wrench to remove bottom bolt on shock move it off to the side.
Remove axle.
Reverse to install.
