Can I drive my truck without the fuel filter water sensor plugged in? I went to change the filter and the wires were fragile and frayed and then broke off. No auto parts places have a replacement and the dealer is closed till monday. Then I dont have a way to get to the dealer? Can i just screw the broken one back on and drive the truck with out it unplugged till I get a replacement from the dealer?

I would say yes. You may set a water in fuel light, but if they are insulated from each other (the wires) I would assume you should see no difference.

Yeah, you will be ok. You shouldn't get a WIF light unless the truck side plug is shorted. If they want a lot more than $45, you can get it from Eric at Merchant automotive. (gmdieseltech.com) Let me know if you have a problem finding it on his site if you decide to go that route.
