I just replaced the seals in my fuel filter block. It apparently was sucking air. That did the trick, but I noticed the black rubber fuel lines (at the filter block) are cracked and I want to replace them.

I was told on another post that I could get Diesel specific fuel hose at Napa.
I went to 2 Napa stores and they don't have a clue if there is diesel specific hose vs. regular gas hose.

1. What is the difference between gas and diesel fuel hose?

2. Is it "fuel injection" hose, or just regular low pressure fuel hose?

3. Does anyone have a part number for the Napa diesel hose?

Thanks,
Chad

The 1/2 hose at NAPA is compatable with gas or diesel fuel.

I don't know of any gas vehicle that uses 1/2 fuel hose, maybe on the tank vent.

Lots of diesel trucks use the 1/2 inch size.

Better make sure it is compatible with diesel fuel! Fuel injector line I believe is what you need. Dmax store sells the blue injector line by the foot which is what comes with the air dog lift pump I installed. That is what I ordered and used for what you're doing.

If you get the hoses from NAPA (I did), you'll need new clamps since the outside wall is thicker than the stock ones. They are nice and not expensive at all.
