2003 GMC 2500hd lb7, 325k miles, and I have no maintenance history prior 324k miles. I had a fuel priming problem, so I purchased an Airdog II 4g and deleted the factory fuel filter housing. Priming problem solved. However now I start the truck up (starts and idles like a champ) but lose fuel pressure when applying the pedal. The high pressure is around 5000 psi when idle and drops to around 1500 psi when rev up engine. Engine will not rev past 1200-1500 rpm. It also creates white smoke out of exhaust. Help!!!

When you elminated your stock fuel filter, you also eliminated a store of diesel fuel very close to your CP3 pump. I'm not sure this is the cause of your problem, but best of luck finding a solution.
