Does anyone know of any good, reliable, and fair diesel service and performance shop near Gainesville, FL? Please help, the stealership sucks and the dieselplace forum can't seem to help me out...:help

Simple answer is, there isn't one. Dealerships here are some of the worst and there aren't any pro shops here.

Might have to go to Jacksonville or Ocala.

Jax, there is a place called diesel addiction, A guy with no arms is the owner, and he know's his stuff. (No BS) It's in the arlington area. I would talk to him about anything. He is a little pricey though. If it's tranny work, I have a different guy though.

Diesel Addiction (You will prolly have to leave a message, he can't just pick up the phone... lol. 904-724-0012

GA Diesel is about 7 hours from gainesville, fl... thanks though.

Does anyone have any specific shops that they have used for performance installs in the North/central FL area? The one in jax is a good option, thanks.

What is the problem with your truck? I can personally tell you that there is really no reliable shops outside the dealership here. If you are trying to diagnose a problem then i will tell you that Palm Chevrolet's diesel mechanic (russell) is very good & the service writer Tracy will get things done for you that most cant. So if it's something that can be done at the dealer that is the 2 guys to get in touch with. If it's something that needs to be done (performance) Then russell can & will do anything you need to get done but he wont do it for free.
