well, was at the fair last night. which was freaking sweet by the way.

anyways, 02Dmax won the street legal pull-- 297 & some. & if i remember correctly 04Dmax got 3rd.

in the modified class-- 04Dmax got 3rd & 05Dmax got 4th which were also in the street legal class, so i would say that is pretty damn good.

+ im pretty sure these were the only Dmaxs pulling maybe 4 total. there was ALOT of Dodges!!! some Fords, in a range of years. just a great time over all.

i got pit passes so a friend & i went around checking out the trucks. before they were racing.

have to give Grand Rock props!! for i finally got to see the stack(s) set-ups in person & just awsome! very clean look, some had a diamond plate cover then the bed cover started further back.:rockin the wifey still says if we lived out here(rural) area then its cool but liven where we do right now, it would be stupid!!

22 trucks in the class.

Matt had great hook. My hook was good but I need a bit more tire to get me past those Dodges. That Tan Chevy was Dale Bennet. I have the real stock looking GMC. The one with the kid seat in the back. Does not look real impressive till the smoke starts to roll. The guy at the pit gate said me " you going to pull this truck? Your going to get killed" I hope he watched.:D

johnboy- i remember ur truck. after ur pull the wifey said to me thats what were getting...... no honey, that thing is the size of a bus. that truck is one long sucka:rof

matts run was good stuff! it seemed like he kept gaining speed as he started getting close to the end. thought it was going to full pull & keep going:D but it just stopped out of no where. while others just slowly slowed down to a stop.

short bed for sure & extended cab maybe crew. but even those i should probably get my bus license!!!

we went with my friend in his PSD with a crew cab and she really liked it so have to see.

hmmmmmm i tring to think who i talked to then.........

what ever the case, it was alot of fun & lots of smoke inhaled:rockin

Turboman;

I remember talking to you at Gaugea Cty fair. We, (my son Pat and I) started pulling early this year. We did a Suncoast IV before hooking to a sled.
Pat just put most of our hooks on youtube.com search "truck pulls" then scroll to Duramax truck pulls, part 1&2.
