Hey guys,
Anyone have experience with the gatorback belts? I recently bought one and it ended up being to short. Summitracing.com has 3 others but none of them match my stock one.
My current stock belt is 6pk2992
Goodyear offers sizes:
6pk3002
6pk3015
6pk3035
I tried the 6pk3285 but it obviously was to small.
Most obvious option would be to get 6pk3002 and the tensioner should get the slack I hope? and even though summit applications tab does not make much sense.

Thanks

105amp alternators take the 2992mm length belt, You mean the 6PK2985 was to short?

Go the safe route, GM#97300653 6PK2992, Or Bando 6PK2995.

You want the 4061195, which is the 6PK3035, I think.
That belt is for the 145amp alternator, A 6PK3035 is longer than a 6PK2992 that's correct for a 105amp alternator, The 6PK3002 is the closest Goodyear one & will probably work.

They are good belts, The current GM belt is made by ContiTech & just as good, Bando make's quality belts also.

He stated his original belt is a 6PK2992, A 6PK3035 is obviously to long.
