Somtimes, on used equipment, testing might indicate no issues, but when installed and running, they may fail or be intermittent because the testing lab does not mimic the environment the injectors are subjected to - high heat, vibrations, etc.

The testing lab is a relatively calm and ideal place to get good test results. If you buy new, it may be costly, but you lessen the chances of putting in parts that may fail.

Injectors are a tough call, esp the lb7's. If they are used then someone must have replaced them due to issues (stuck open, dirty, bad flow, etc). Although 2 of 8 injectors might be bad (for example) when you replace yours. If you send your cores in, your problems with the two injectors will go to someone else if the shop that remanufactures them doesn't get it right.

How many miles were on them when you put them in?
umm id say mine have pri 5,000 or so on them and i dont know about his, i do know that his truck did not smoke at an idle when he took them out, it had a very, very slight haze i mean real slight, so most of his were good,

i dont under stand how i can take him my 8 and only 4 are good, take him Tonys 8 and only 4 are good, which is fine i guess, but how do they go from bein good in his truck to dead on a test table, and how do the ones that were good in his truck and my truck just start dyin off now that Daves tested them!

its the second one out of 8 that he said would run the truck great, that has now got stuck open.

idk tho, maybe im tootin the horn early, gm never called me today so they must be plannin on doin it monday mornin, maybe its somethin else but i have a hard time thinkin its somethin else when i just had the same problem less then a week ago,

if they would have said all 15 are junk, and charged me i still would have said thats fine and got new ones!

only thing im pissed about is my truck has been down for over a month and now after paying for the parts to do it once, i had to do it again and now i have to do it a 3rd time,

im gonna get it runnin decent and trade it, i cant keep playin this stupid game of injectors goin out at any time,

well its runnin again, we'll see for how long this time,

wish i had the cash to just do all new injectors, hard tellin which one will go out next,

there everything was on it right, hold down was tight, and the injector still had the lube i used to put it in down on the o-ring and inside the cup, so there was no problems there either,

kind of wierd that every thing was right on the truck but the injector was messed up, i guess you live and you learn, im hopin these injectors last me a month or so, cause it only took me a few hours to do that today, so im gettin better haha,

but as of right now, truck runs decent, #4 and 5 are still iffy but i think they will run it for a bit i hope,

just need it to run till after next saturday haha, my brother needs it for prom! gotta get some tunes on it for that!

i had to tap mine the full way in since i couldnt get a good angle just to push, but if you can then by all means i guess push them in,

but what i did was lube the hell out of those o-rings, put your locktight on, push them in as far as they will go, then stick a 1/2" extension upside down (so where the ratchet would hook in goes into the cup) it will catch the groove inside there and tap lightly till you hear the light ting! then its good!
