A lot of guys on here use them with a lot success. Those and a upper control arm kit are on my short list of things to do. Sweet avatar, I've got a 71 c-10 that needs some work soon.

yeah i have them and there hd tie rods. I love my steering since. so smooth and no slop what so ever. really clean steering. plus its better for the front

Check the ball joints and the wheel bearings. Both of those will cause the steering to feel out and cause the truck to dart when crossing the crown in the road.

i did the hd tie rods and the pit/idler braces and its tighter than new/ stock,the uca's are next. i did the braces first and they helped some but the tie rods changed everything.

i cant say for sure if theres an improvement cause my truck had less than 2000 miles on it before I rebuilt the whole front end with cognito UCA's, pit/idler braces, ball joints, and tierods. But I can tell you one thing, my truck handles like a dream and the steering feels like a lowered street car.

I have the braces along the UCA's and all new moog pitman and idler arm, tierods and lower ball joints. My truck wondered as well before all the work was done and my front end guy said my left side upper ball joint was shot. He says you need a crowbar under the tire to check the ball joints correctly.
I did not notice a difference after adding just the braces, it is not designed to keep them from moving, just flexing under heavy acceleration while in four wheel drive.

well either way it will lead to 4x4 launchs.

Have you tried flushing the reservoir and booster system? That also helped my steering feel nice and smooth. There is a DIY article in the DIY section. Cheap to do.

there are a few vendors here who carry them. I ordered mine from alligatorperformance.com chad and vinny were both great to work with.
