I would like to know too... My 2005 does almost the same thing... The driver seat heater won't stay on... Passenger seem to work OK, but I haven't tried to turn driver side on when the passenger side is on, because I usually do not have a passenger.
Heated seats issue
If I turn on the driver's side it goes off in about 5 minutes. It will turn off the passenger side also. If only the pass side is on it will stay on. Element problem on the driver's seat? Thanks

Yup! Mine was the bottom cushion element. Pull the seat and it's an easy fix. I picked up a replacement on Amazoid.If I turn on the driver's side it goes off in about 5 minutes.
