can someone here please explane the difference between 4:10 and 4:56 gearing. i can't seem to get it straight. :help

i believe that a 4:56 is a low end gear you will be quick up to 65 but once there you will be maxing out the motor just what i have heard a 4:56 will allow you to tow more as well from what i have heard
