probably low voltage, cant tell you if thats due to batteries or corrosion or a broken cable without more information. This question has been asked a huge number of times. Please use the search feature.

Based on the fact it started fine when jumped Id say it is the batteries. IF it were corroded conectons it would have had the same problem with the jump too.
When my batteries went out I had the same issue, it started fine until the one start it didn't. New batteries solved my issue.
Replace BOTH your batteries and Im betting you will be good to go.
That's no necessarily true since you would be cranking off of a healthy battery and effectively bypassing, or partially bypassing the trucks cranking batteries. This would make the state of there terminals irrelevant. you could jump the truck with no batteries in it and it would start off the donor vehicle and run off the alternator.
