I am wiring into the ECU for my PPEI SOTF switch and using pins 11 (Yellow ) and 35 ( black ). Well, when extracting the #35 pin plug the small black retainer that holds the pin lost integrity and will not hold the pin from pushing out. I’m sick to my stomach thinking about having to buy a new plug and re-pinning ALL of these connections.

I’ve also seen online that DuramaxForum has you pin 27 and 46.

Is there a reason why there is a difference between DF pin outs and PPEI? Are they interchangeable? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? Or am I absolutely f##cked.

Thank you for your responses!

ALRIGHT, I apologize guys... after a mild panic and a tremendous amount of profanity I was able to rebuild the connector and keep it so the pin would seat. It still isn’t perfect and not the way I would like it but it’s functional.

I put the truck back together and let it idle for awhile and didn’t see anything abnormal. I lost ambient air temperature for a little while but after cycling the key and selecting it on the software it repopulated to the dash. I drove a couple miles and switched between the profiles and you can tell it becomes more aggressive the more it’s turned to the right. I do have a question that comes from all this. Aside from the switch position itself is there any indication of what tune profile your currently in (1,2,3,4,5) ? Or any way to see this via EZ Lynk APP software on the display?
