Here’s my deal I went to the dealer to get my fuel filter changed. When I got the truck back they gave me a bill for $192.45 after I picked my self off the ground I told them to take my pic Because they would never see me again. The question I have is there any place I can see a video or can some one walk me threw how to change a fuel filter on a lmm from now on I’am going to do my maintenance my self. Thanks Josh :help

filter from the dealer's what; 50-60 bucks? 1 / 1.5 hour labor: 95-100 bucks an hour? + tax...

i can see where they got to 190 bucks. it's easy to do it yourself though.

I knew the dealer was high but that's just crazy.

Are you forgetting to tell us about the hot blonde waiting for you in the truck or did they really just do a sand paper wrap and start thrashing? very sorry to hear that. You can get the new high dollar 40 or 45$ filter, a filter wrench for 15, and change it in 10 minutes from start to finish.

It takes a little longer than 10 min on an LMM. I would guess 30 min or so.

Don't forget to buy a water sensor wrench when you get the fuel filter about $10-$15 bucks.
