Just bought a 2008 GMC 2500 HD. I have some extra cash laying round for a lift, rim, and tire package. I just acquired a second job as a utility sub contractor. I need to select a lift kit, rim, and tire package that will maintain the functionality of the truck. I will be hauling a mini-x and trailer that has a combined gross weight of almost 8 tons. Want to narrow my selection down to something slick, but that will maintain the intergerity of the truck like it is now (stock). I love the way it hauls, buts it's just to blain as a daily driver.

Get some rims and dont lift it.

I would leave it stock height, add bags to the rear end instead and add some goodies that will help you out in the power/efficiency dept. instead.

if you must lift it right away, call nick at norcal truck and talk to him. Hes the suspension master and will set you up
