Thanks for all the replies folks.
@LML6600DMAX I certainly can, but I'll be on a bit of a time crunch while I'm transferring. That's not a huge deal, but I hate walking into a dealership needing to buy a vehicle. I've always gotten better deals when I'm not in a bind where I have to buy one.

I told them no deal on buying sight unseen unless they include a 12 month bumper to bumper warranty on it. Playing the waiting game now, the next one that calls (dealer or me) loses.
@DMAX Slim that would be awesome, but with me being so new to the forum (1st thread) and not knowing anyone here, I'm not sure I could garner any such favors.
@Sport45 my thoughts exactly. That's part of the reason I'm so hesitant.

I wouldn't read too much into the Carfax "Drivability" checks. First, any GM dealer can pull up the warranty claim history on the truck. Obviously if the truck was continued to be serviced at that dealer, they can pull up even more info for you.

A check engine light can trigger that 'drivability' notation on the Carfax. These trucks are very complicated machines and sometimes things go wrong. You will have to repair things on any vehicle you buy eventually :)

I purchased my truck from Texas and had to put some money into it. I knew that going into it, its a used vehicle and I am OCD about my vehicles being in tip top shape.
