Anyone have a good idea on how to remove the piece of a hose shut off that is broken off inside a pressure washer, before I go primitive Pete on it and screw up the threads?

The black part is threaded, female threads and stays on the pressure washer, the hose shut off is broken off flush inside it.
if your talking about the brass ring inside the female hose threads i would get a sharp punch and a light hammer and tap around the edges with the punch to unscrew it. the brass should be soft enough to yield to the punch and will let it bite in and turn it loose. Light taps should keep you from damaging the threads if the punch slips.

Or use an allen wrench and just remove the female portion. Then go to the local box store and find a new fitting. Probably get one of those shut off WYE fittings and remove the female the same way, then install on pressure washer.
