when you say Z71 i take it to be a brand new one seeing they just started that packed again or due you mean the classic body style,if so a 265-75R16 will go on with out doing any thing to the truck but the 285-75R16 looks better but in order to make so they don't rub you'll have to push up the T/Bars,and if you have a brand new gm truck i would have to know what size oem wheel you have before i say what size tire you could run..

yes it will be the new body style. I was really hoping to get a 305 on there. I'll have to look back and see what size wheel it comes with. I may go with some bigger wheels also. I just don't like the look of 20's with a low profile tire and I don't want to lift.

i would recommend a 17" wheel due to the fact that the tires will cost less then a 18" or bigger..285-70R17

325

I have a 2006 with a level kit and 18x9 wheels and I have 325x60 or 65 tires can't remember they're big but looks sweet, before that I had 305's on 16 inch stock wheels it looked good too but wheels weren't quite wide enough

Ive seen guys put 35s on without a lift. It all depends on how much trimming you want to do. 285s, 305s should be pretty easy

when you run the 35's you'll have to set the bumper forward an inch or else trim some of the bumper and do alot of other trimming so in the end it would look better to do a 3" lift and then put the 35's on with no trimming..

I have 325/60/18's on my 03 duramax. I hade to trim a little off the valance and some of the plastic in the wheel well. Seems to work just fine. Haven't been off road with it though. I'd imagine I'll get em to rub some time.

i have 18s and could fit 285/65/18 without any rubbing or mods but with the leveling kit i can fit 275/70/18 with minimal rubbing
