I just cranked my bars 6 turns on a 2006 to clear 305 55 20. Only had to trim the front, plastic valence. I dont know if the trucks prior to 06 have enough clearance on the bolt to crank high enough without a different torsion key. You might need the leveling kit with a different key to get that extra clearance for a 315 tire, but just make sure you leave 3/4 inch between the uca and droop stop for ride purposes if you do start cranking the torsion keys. And dont forget about an alignment afterwards.
