all of you fellas running aftermarket rims on the new body styles or any truck with the tire pressure monitoring system on it. how'd you do it? can you pop those valves out and put in new rims or delete the stupid light that comes on when it senses they are not there?

Switch over the TPMS to the new rims. According to the dealer the light can not be shut off if you dont have them in the new tires. The dealer can lower the air pressure to fit your tire needs though.

TPMS cannot be turned off in any way.
GM tech II and a dealer who knows what's up can change the range of PSI.

Those sensors can break. Id get new sensors from the dealer. Heck sell youe old wheels with the sensors will probably pay for it..

Or you could always ride around with your old tires in the bed to :rof
