Hi guys, new here been reading for months and absorbing info! I have learned a ton lately! So thanks!

My question is, i have a 07.5 LMM dpf and cat delete and edge chip, when i start it in the morning and let it idle after a few seconds it idles up to about 1000 rpm and monitor says about 2 psi it lasts for maybe a minute of so then goes back down to normal! I've searched turbo vanes opening and closing but this doesn't sound like the same thing... any one shed some light? Thanks, looking forward to diving in head first!

Like 95 degrees! How do you change the elevated idle? and what does it do should i leave it?

It's in the DIC options. Click thru or look in ur manual for turning it off. It allows the truck to warm up faster by idling higher.

At 95 degress it shouldn't be in an elevated idle.

Mine does the same thing some mornings when i first start it. Not elevated idle as I use that in the winter and it is different. But mine does idle up from time to time after sitting over night and being started. Not sure if it is oil pressure related as it only does it on the first start of the day for me. Come to think of it I only really noticed it after I took the CAT off.
