After abusing the +80hp tune on the stock tranny, limping 2-3 times a day, and not shifting past 3rd gear, I finally threw in the towel and getting the ol' allison built. PPE Stage V with the Precision Mike L Converter, pump rub fix, the whole 9 yards. Can't wait to get it back!

Big thanks to Hammerdown Diesel in Jacksonville IL for taking care of me!

I'll let you guys know how everything goes in the next week or so, what do you guys suggest as the proper break in procedure? Do I go easy on her with the stock tune for ~500 miles? or do I let her rip with +80hp tune out of the gate?

Any help is appreciated. :gearjamin

Go easy on her on the first tank of fuel. Fill her up and let her eat. Also with a built trans you could run way bigger tune than that.

Oh I know that haha, the stage V is good up to 1000hp, but I currently only have Edge Juice with Attitude -_- so +80hp is the most she's got, unless I wanna pay for the hot unlock. So should I keep it on the +80hp and just take it easy for the first tank, or go back down to stock and run a tank full through it?
