All,

Injector time on my 04 LB7. Plan on replacing all 8.

I have the FASS Lift pump with Fuel filter and Water Separator. Plus the CAT Fuel filter that replaced the stock fuel filter.

No tunes, everything else stock.

Should I purchase the OEM Bosch reman injectors

or

purchase the LB7 30% Oversized Duramax OEM Bosch Injectors

The Oversized will cost approximately $ 70.00 more each.

Also, will I have to put some tunes if I go oversize, or can I run it without until I save up for the tunes.

thanks in advance

Buy stock size injectors. Take the extra $560 that you just saved and buy efi live. Stock injector's are good for 600ish horse. And yes you would need tunes to properly run bigger injectors.

I would buy oversized if you plan to make more then 500hp in the next 2 years or 20k miles. That means upgrading turbos.

Get the oversized injectors you might decide down the road that you want more power.

once the hp bug bits you in the ass you will kick yourself if you didn't go oversized but it all depends on what you want and what you can afford.
