Just installed the p2 plugged it in to were my old brake controller was plugged do you use same plug in as old ones?? Is the p2 blue light suppose to light up when u hit the brakes right now it's just a blue dot and hasn't turned off yet please need help

Yes, it will turn off after 10 minutes[??] after you shut it down.

Is the blue light suppose to blink when you hit brake pedal or just stay solid blue

My Prodigy does not blink when you press the brake.

The cable will only plug into the one you have it in-. There was a change in the cable wiring about 2002/03-- are you sure you have the cable for a 04-?? The difference is two wire locations in the cable.

Looks OK!

Try it when it is connected to a trailer.

You could have water in the trailer plug-- that will cause problems.
