So I finally loaded my quad, I've been using the banks since I bought the truck. What I noticed is the quad on 90 dont want to go any higer till I get a trans go jr. is the power is alot smoother the boost maxes out at 28 instead of 37 on a straigh the egt's seem lower. I'm going to keep it on this setting for a while so we will see what else it has. I think its alot better tune than the banks.

You hear alot of pros and cons about banks. It would be interesting to compare another programmer to the banks. I hope you like it though! I agree with the transgo jr. Im keeping my PPE at 90 till I atleast get a Jr. :rolleyes:

i had a quad steath 2 on my lbz i beat the piss outta it on 135 never a limp ever i have a transgo though and lots of smoke esp.. on 110 and 135

Yea quad has some pretty good tuning im happy with mine, but its just the opposite with my truck i cant get any smoke.

yea my cuz has a 03 lb7 and he said i want smoke so i said ok quad stealth 2 no doubt , it doesnt smoke a lick lol
i have the quad stealth on the 135 and only a little puff when it was cold out but it was 59 degrees today , and she was blackin out the street!:D

i know it's not efficient, but i see almost all quick dmax's are gonna smoke alittle especially out of the hole as you are not building full boost, but smoke is deffinetly fun at times, like yesterday when i filled this d-bag kids grand prix full of smoke thought he was all cool and had his window down, and a "all car northern race team" sticker on the back window and was trying to race me the thing was a turd!:rof

DURDAMAX what lvl are you running and do you have an aftermarket intake or boost valve?

seems bullet proof on the 90 tune(lvl 4),and was running the 110(LVL 5) for quite a while and worked great for a DD, have had it on the 135(lvl6) for about a week now, is alot of fun, tons of low end grunt and some nice smoke if that's what your looking for, but whatch those 4-5 shifts, i put it on the 165(lvl 7) for an hour one day last week, it was a bit much for a daily driver, and actually less smoke than 135 tune, but i do plan on doing a trans in the future, but i take the 4-5's easy and watch the 5-4 passing downshift it will limp your trans if your not careful.

I ran my PPE on 160(lvl4) tune daily and 225(lvl5) on occasssion on my 02 and limped it once in 4 months and was still all good when i sold it, and as far as i know the guy is still running it on the 130-160 daily and he has owned it for about 10-11 months now, but this quadzilla stealth on the 135 tune feels much more potent then the 160 ppe tune maybe even nearing the 225 PPE tune.

oh and stock airbox,no boost valve, and just straight piped(no muffler)3.5" "factory" exhaust

what level are you running? you should have 20+ more hp on every level than what i do with your boost valve, intake, and exhasut.

Im running the 135 tune i just dont get any smoke and i want a little smoke. Also wanting to make sure my truck is ok.

I would say your truck is deffinetly ok then, if you are burning all that fuel that thing must be fast as hell:gearjamin
