Indeed the guys that frequent this thread are awesome :)

Front diff should be out tomorrow so be ready for another round of photos :thumb

Beats paying someone to do all this, plus it's a good learning experience on some of this stuff! :bd03

How long has your front diff been leaking?

I'm assuming you noticed fluid on your driveway, or was it something else?

I thought you bought a new seal the other week, still not installed?

It's been leaking since January 2013 nono

Once the dealer said no, I deleted that same evening (was going to wait, but was pissed off)

New seal is ready, just need to break the old one out. Got the Amsoil fluids for both the front and rear ready to rock n roll as well :)

No drips on the driveway, just a constant reminder that the axle tube was saturated and had what appeared to be a drip, though I never saw fluid on my driveway soooo who knows :)

I need some direction here. Go ahead with the FASS mount mentioned earlier, or make one for the location farther back.

The dealer I bought my truck from tried to deny the leaking seal due to being leveled and having the cognito uca and I called bull shit on them and raised hell with the service writer. In the end he replaced the seal, and replaced 2 or 3 cracked hub caps.

thanks!

need to get the ball rolling on that, in case i need to make one, unless i find one!

diff gets taken out today....and if i still have daylight and the motivation to do so, go ahead and remove the tie rods, Cognito Supports, break the gear box nut, unbolt the dual kit and remove the ears (but not the drop member bolts, not just yet..) then tackle pulling the center link out
