The property is pie shaped

GOT PLENTY of room back there

Could probably fit a 60x60 but, I wouldn't want to pay for the slab!

Concrete is about $121 a yard delivered. If you build your own forms and bust your own rebar, you just need a few able bodied friends to rake and screed and float. You can rent the tools. 5 inch slab, 40x60 would run you about $4500-$5000 for the concrete plus the cost of beer or whiskey for your friends to help.

Erecting a metal building is easy if you don't engineer it and have to have permits and stamps. You can start by pouring a 40x30 and then add on to it later and add the other.

you can simple span 30 ft with C purlin but if you go 40ft then you have to have the big steel beams that cost significantly more. If you can live with 30 ft then you can make it as long as you like, just keep adding on. Small mig welder and some self tapping screws and you can go to town.

My shop is 30x30 and I intend to add another 30x30 on to it. The second half will be taller to accommodate a lift..

Plan for possible future uses and whatever size you go, make sure you make it TALL enough.

Put the peak of the roof in the correct direction to be able to make it longer at some time in the future.

Put new shocks on the old truck

5100s from Bilstein again, and it definitely made a difference up front, one of mine if not both weren't working that good up front, for the longest

Welded stainless today with nonmag elite wire, with 20-30 crushed carbide

First time, and it turned out in spec and visually very nice :)

Had water circulating in the ID and preheat was a whopping 100 degrees with an interpass heat range of 100-400, so I welded the first one, saw an increase of 170 degrees, so the next batch of 3 bands I welded two, let it step to the 3rd, stopped it, let it cool, and knocked number 3 out

Next up is getting the machine shop to machine me two pieces that go together so I can start laying beads down in a groove so I can get into stub welding, so the district and myself can make more money

Water was off but there's a probe with hose in the box connection so it would pass through and fall back into the trash can where the submerged pump would work it's magic and re-circulate

the main metal bumper came as a skin and everything structural on the backside had to be swapped over

these two pieces along with a skinny brace in the 3rd picture were scuffed and sprayed with rustoleum undercoating

these two pieces in particular can be seen through the center opening so i wanted a uniform coating, not any white flaking paint

done deal for the trans, now moving onto the transfer case

i TRIED to get Dexron6 since its plastered all over the internet about it being in the owners manual, so i gave it a shot but between Vatozone and OHHHReily's they only had one quart between them, so i used the extra Transynd i had and made it happen.

first things first, make sure your new jug pump kit fits before you start moving a full container around under the truck!

older picture obviously since the trans and Tcase were done before the wash...since the truck is dirty but i like to keep my pictures together :bd03

the bottom plug is your drain, and the one above is for the guys running 2 quarts (which in reality you just fill till it starts puking and plug it up), and the 3 quart guys i read go through the speed sensor up top..,makes sense
29197335_10211593354378630_9221775314043011072_n.jpg

i assume this is normal, according to posts online it doesn't look bad
