In my area there is a diesel performance shop that stocks the kodiak MP for the LLY'S he says their better than the LBZ because of an easier fit and no resonator required. The AFE is a little over priced for me. Should I go ahead and get the kodiak or is there a difference between it and the LBZ mp?

I would go ahead and get it. thats what i used, and you dont have to trim it unless you really want to. gettin rid of the stock mp is the best mod i have done to mine. I cant remember if there is a big difference in diameter or anything. there should be a good thread on differences. yea, the AFE is very overpriced in my opinion, but the good thing about them is that it is a direct replacement i guess.

yeah Ill probably just get the kodiak, he has them right in stock which is nice too.

The LBZ is bigger and should flow more. It also allows you to run a 4" air tube.

So your saying i should go LBZ and not kodiak, especially if I want to get a full air intake one day.
