Damn it, now I’m gonna be figuring out how to squeeze a 12’ door on my shop

Just lower the floor. Its probably easier to do that vs raising the door.:grin2: It may actually be easier to jack up the whole building and put a stub wall under the existing walls. Couple of floor jacks and some creative beverage drinkers can do wonders.

While in there with the digger, put in a service pit.

Don't do like me, was parked close to the door so I couldn't see it wasn't all they way up & by the time the mechanic yelled it was too late.
Thought we were good cause the Boss was away for awhile but not long enough. You guessed it he was pissed. ;taz

Something will bend... maybe not exactly what or where you want it to, but it will bend.

Update on the ridge grapplers. New 16.5/32” tread depth.

Now there about 12.5/32.
Less than 20k on them.
Figure about 6/32 would be as far as I’d run them.
Say 5k miles per 32 would give them a 50k lift span.
Definitely wearing faster than the st maxx on my old truck.

I can't remember what size you got or what ply rating they have.

I got 96k miles out of my last set but they was the 12 ply.

I hear ya, here is what I'm running. I guess with mine being wider would increase the wear life or how does that work?

I would imagine so. Assuming less ground pressure would mean less abrasion.

I believe the more weight kept on a tire the longer it will last. But that is also with tires formulated to run on pavement. Not all tires a equal.

Little project for the truck, the lowest setting on the bunk blower motor is like high on any other vehicle. So swapping from a three position switch to a pwm switch for “infinite” fan speeds. Also putting in a digital thermostat which will turn the fan on and off to regulate temp.

How do you empty the trailer? Is it one of those drive on and they tilt the whole thing?

They tilt only the trailer.

Other means of unload. Little machine drives into trailer and puts them on a conveyer. Didn’t get a good look at the head of the machine to see how it actually pics them up.
