I just repalced injectors in my 2003 lb7. Primed amd fired truck up, ran perfect for couple minutes, lower valve cover geasket on driver side was rolled amd started leaking. I pulled valvle covers off, i did not remove injectors or returns. Reinstalled valve covers primed amd fired up. Has a slight knock and blows white smoke out of crank case vent and oil cap.
I took feed lines off and bled amd primed driver side again and still knocks and smokes out of crankcase.
Need suggestions, i am taking valve covers off tommorrow, going to use a heat gun to see if one of injectors is colder and replace it or copper washer???
Please help

Sounds like a copper washer not getting seated correctly

Thats kinda what happened. I worked on truck late last nite, washer had fell off injecter when i installed it and got caught on head between injector. I torqued it down, so it left a gap amd only had o ring as seall. Truck ram great for first few mins until o ring blew them knock started. Lesson learned, put washer in tube first before you install injecter. My rookie mistake could have cost me my motor. Getting it flow/balance tested this morning
