I have a 2003 3500 lb7 as you can see in my profile picture currently at 119k miles not sure if ima need Injectors but it’s blowing heavy white bluish smoke when in idle no check engine light check oil dipstick no milky residue or in oil cap no milky white residue not sure if it’s the injectors or head gasket that’s causing the white bluish smoke but truck seems to run fine new to diesel engines never worked on them just trying to figure out if it’s injectors or head gasket which engine temp gauge never goes above the 1/4 line idk if LDS injectors are good or what you guys think

Si I’ve seen they got some super stock injectors but they also have a complete kit that’s comes with an air dog and other things would it be best to get the complete kit or the super stock injectors that they offer I’m kinda in a hard decision and I just want to be sure if it’s worth the complete injector kit or super stock injectors?

I did the new SAC45 from LDS about 3 months ago. Spoke to Brent as others have said, actually I had a lot of questions about a need for tune. He was awesome to talk with, honest and had a lot of good answers. In the end I chose not to tune, and don't know if it's because of various intake mods, but it seems to get enough air that I don't really have any smoke unless you really get on the throttle hard. I had about 130k on old stock ones that were the 2nd warranty replacement set (so set 3 from GM) from back in 2009. Needless to say I was hazing terrible before that and had awful balance rates. I did the whole install kit and ordered new valve cover bolts and bolts for return lines and new hp lines. I'd definitely recommend LDS, install with everything was great.

How bad was the install process with the SAC45’s?. I’m probably doing the 15% injectors and avoiding an EFI live tune. Was this a weekend job, or does it take a week? Any advice for a first time injector installer? Or take it to a shop?
Thanks!

I run EFI live and I can check my injector function. Take it to another mechainc and just have them look at your injector numbers. Most of mine were good, but I did have 2 that were way off from the rest. My truck was blowing blue/white. I replaced my injectors and my turbo right before Christmas. Great now, but I was at 200k for miles
