LB7 turbo?

well my turbo doesnt seem to making what it should... im only hitting about 25psi i was think about trying the boost valve or maybe a wastgate? cause im getting enough fuel lol.. just need more boost

but also on the other hand im am looking into aftermarket turbo
i wanna make about 550-600 with one and i wanna know what would be a good cheaper turbo to do this with that wouldnt have a crap ton of boost lag and cost a forture

use the search super mod...

jk. i would look into the bd supermax, they can make 600 and the spool fast when properly tuned. only cost around $2000-2100

i just wanted some opinons :neener
but what about HTT? there turbos kinda confuse me reading about them
and iw as thinking about the supermax but idk... didnt you have one? what kind of power and boost were u seeing?

freddys turbos!!!

they are essentially the same the htt is just 2mm larger and you can get the htt with the larger stainless housing.

i had both, i ran about 40psi iirc and did a smoke free 500 hp at high altitude, and that was with a pretty mild tune. i belive 2800 pw, where as most "race" tunes are in the ball park of 3000-3200 fwiw.

I would have to say twins for sure, if not then freddys turbo is another good option

anything else you wanna complain about with turbos..first it is to stock looking next you cant afford it. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaa hahaha :neener are you into pulling now? ill send you a PM

screaming diesel performance does some mods to the stock turbo, he says its the same as a bd one, but only costs 1000. id give him a holar.

id say go get urself a nice single turbo. But if ur keep the stock turbo, get the PPE Boost Increase Valve, im boosting 30psi, the most ive seen is 31psi. I like it

dad's 03 LB7 has the banks wastegate, not impressed with it. go for the ppe valve

If you just want more PSI to see what happens spend the $20 or so and buy the PPE but if you want more turbo I would talk to Freddy or look at the BD Supermax and HTT.
