Would an LBZ turbo work on my LLY?
Could i just drop it in and go or would i need custom tuning?
Are all the mounting locations the same?

why ? lbz will spool quicker but but the lly turbo will flow more, so why go through the trouble of replacing a stocker with a stocker?

It requires the adaptor, I put my old LMM turbo on my buddies LLY. Runs like a champ. I have an adaptor if you need one.

When my LLY turbo crapped out I ran my buddies stock LMM turbo for about 6 months. Bolted right on, no special tuning, no adapters. I just re-used my LLY vane position sensor

Not likely that both the turbo and VPS would go bad at the same time, it's usually one or the other. I'd hate for you to go through the trouble of changing the turbo if not necessary
