My brake booster line appears to have a leak at the joint between the rubber hose and the hard line going into the back of the power steering pump. It doesn't leak all the time, but it is enough to make a mess. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Besides replacing the line is there any way to fix this problem?

Easy fix replace it local auto parts about $35.00. and about 1 1/2 time. I would change both the high and low pressure line while you are at it. The line from Hydro to steering box about $50.00. No major problem if you do not change it, just a mess.

Mine did the same thing with about 10K miles on the truck. The dealership replaced the whole unit under waranty. I don't know if you're still under waranty, but it's worth a try if you are.
