i am looking at buying an 04 2500hd with a dmax.. The truck has 290km on it. As i have not seen to many trucks with over 200km, i was wondering if anyone out there has anything with high miles and what kind of problems could i expect if any... I am just worried about injectors and stuff like that. The truck is stock and always has been,,, so?????:help

Is it an LLY or LB7? 8th digit is a 2 its a LLY, if its a 1 its a LB7

That being said, there is lb7s out there with 800k+ on them. I have 231k on mine and there is others with more on here running a lot more hot tunes than I am.

Over on the duramaxdiesels.com forum there is a list with all high mileage trucks, the top 10 where all over 300,000 miles with the highest being 511,000 miles so i dont think u have anything to worry about!

I have 238+ on mine. Replaced injectors twice and CP3 once. Now that she is over 10 years old. I am starting to replace hoses and seal on a preventative basis. I feel as long as you maintain the truck, should last a long time. I plan on 500k before even thinking about buying another one.

160k on my 03 eventually going to go to stock tires and stock suspension. like the look but rides rough(add a leaf and lift keys). I wouldnt worry about miles unless its a lb7 then id only worry about when the injectors were changed last. good luck in your search for a duramax you wont be disappointed
