I know I've seen lift pumps with an in cab, on off switch. I was wondering if every lift pump comes like this, or is it something you hafta do yourself? I want to be able to turn it off and on if I need to.

You might ask why I'd wanna turn it off? I wanna turn it off for when I'm in the woods, I don't wanna hear that thing when I'm looking for peace and quiet! Just saying!

Get an AirDogII, you won't hear anything.

Most of them come wired for always on. Wiring up a switch wouldn't be very hard. You'd need the switch, some extra wires, and a multi-meter.

I wired a switch into mine. Its where the fog light button should be.

true...just wire it with two relays that way it only comes on when the truck is running

you gotta watch out with the ppe's cause even though there flow through they will restrict the flow when off atleast mine did anyway IDK but it would limp at near WOT with a 30 hp tune

mine drove fine with the pump turned off...


anyways just buy a $3 dollar wal mart switch and wire it up with an inline fuse to the pump its easy.

my switch turns on my gauges and liftpump at once
