Does my truck an 05 D-max have a lifter pump in the fuel tank?

Reason i asked is because i have an extra fuel tank and i got a steel one which i know now is not the kind to get because I've went through 2 fuel filters in the last 15K miles.
I've been told the steel tank is sludging up.

and if i have a lifter pump in the fuel tank that will get messed up too.

I really wanna use this tank for one more month but don't wanna wreck my lifter pump if this truck as one.
Thanks guys.

Run a filter on the fuel as it comes out of your secondary tank. Are you dropping out of the aux tank to the main tank and then the engine or pulling straight into the engine from the aux tank? Put a 10 micron filter setup coming out of the tank, run a good treatment that will keep things cleaner as well. Metal tanks in the back of the truck can condense when baking in the summer sun. Make sure the fuel is treated and that will go a long way.

It's running from the 2nd fuel tank into the first.
They never put a filter between tanks. Now i'm pissed. I was kinda wondering why there was no filter. guess there thought was the main filter would take care of it.
For dumb.
Well i guess i better go get a little filter and fuel treatment.
Thanks again for all the help guys.
