Will my dealer install the LBZ tune onto my '06 LLY? Is there a noticeable difference in the tunes? Anyone know how much I should expect to pay for this service or if they will even perform it? 115k miles all stock with zero problems.

I dont know why you just wouldnt spend money on a programmer instead? and I dont know if there will be a "noticable" difference

10 cents would be wasting money.

I would suspect any dealer who claims to do this, would be taking money and returning the vehicle unchanged. If doing it as a tech2 service, they would have to find a VIN for LBZ, and then flash the vehicle by breaking corporate protocol, and federal laws that are established on emissions certification standards. You are not allowed to change tuning that affects emissions without recertification. You will get a lot of blank stares from dealers on requests like this. If they do it, they subject themselves to stiff fines. FWIW. Yet, you will rarely even find a service writer that understands these risks.
