New to forum and oil burning.

I'm doing a Duramax conversion for a military and have sourced a used LML with two options, one from 2011 and one from 2013. both have about 80k miles.

As I prepare for it's arrival, I've been making a list of things to do to it that will increase it's reliability.

I am not looking to increase HP as a priority since that increases the downstream work I need to do to beef up the drivetrain, and my focus is reliability.

So far I think that a CP3 from 4.2 pump conversion would be a good plan while the motor is out and perhaps a lift pump.

I'd love to hear any suggestions on what the forum users would suggest to do while I have the motor out ro increase it's durability and reliability going forward.
