I have a 2008 gmc 2500 just had a ppe stage 5 trans and convert put in a year ago. About 2 weeks ago I had a minor tick that would get louder with rpm and I was driving home from work and its now really bad.
I have taken the transmission out to check the flex plate and still all in 1 piece everything looks good i ordered a ats billet flex plate to put in while I’m in there i did have 1 torque converter bolt that was not completely loose but not tight by any means and while The trans was out I did connect the wiring up (for neutral safety switch)and put the starter back on truck runs perfect no issues at all and revs just like if it was in park or neutral
