It seems like it does. I filtered the search for "CHEVROLET > 2021 > SILVERADO 3500 > 6.6L V8 DIESEL Turbocharged > Fuel & Air > Fuel Tank Cap"
It also shows here and does not specify gas vs diesel etc...

The fitment is incorrect. This GT377 is made for "capless" gas fuel system. Its for the 6.6l gas motor on HD's only.
Glad you noticed before you bought it. I figured it should have filtered it out since I selected 6.6L V8 DIESEL.
Fuel caps are no different than on older Duramax's. I buy Gates 31778D caps and they fit every GM diesel truck I own or work on that has a cap. They are green but do not attach to the plastic tether (and I'm okay with that). Less than 10 bux at Rock Auto.
I got mine from eBay or Amazon for about $8 for my '08 Sierra 2500HD 6.6L diesel, and it works great!
So funny story from a few obama years ago when fuel prices skyrocketed. A gal I worked with lived in Santa Clause Indiana in a nice subdivision. Owned a nice half ton truck holding alot of fuel like most trucks do. (gas not diesel) She came to work late one day mad as crap, someone siphoned the fuel from her truck and apparently others in the same sub division. She bought a locking gas cap. About 3 weeks later, she missed a day from work. Saw her the next day driving a different car, come to find out it was her parents car borrowed while she had her truck towed to the dealership and $1500 later had a new fuel tank installed. Stole her fuel again, just reached under and drilled a hole in the plastic tank. She threw out the lockable cap and figured a tank of fuel is much cheaper.

It's a fluke, but over the years I have had 4 different times where someone has put something in fuel tanks of one of my (big) trucks at a truck stop and it's resulted in a lot of expense. Had one we had to tow it back from Montreal. Whatever it was turned the bottom third of the fuel tanks into a white paste like plumbers pipe dope. We never did figure out what it was. We had to cut the ends of the fuel tanks off to get it all out and replace everything between there and the fuel filter. Good times!

It’s hard to believe these $60~90k+ trucks do not come with either a locking fuel door or locking/security type fuel cap (or both) simply for peace of mind if nothing else. For me it’s been a bit of a concern since day one. Just ordered Gates 31778D Diesel Only Locking Fuel Tank Cap, (Green) off Amazon about 25$. Will follow up with fitment info and a pic when it’s received and installed. Thx @Piper One

Follow up Gates 31778D fits perfectly, looks and works like OEM fuel cap with internal lock. (Minus fuel cap tether) which I personally can live without. While fueling cap can actually rest on original hook for tether. Simple install. Just used a small pick tool to get behind end of tether and remove w/o damage or cutting. 2 keys included. Time will further tell if any emission issues arise due to evap. Highly doubt it.

After washing my truck in the mild temps we have just received, I‘m sure glad I at least added an anodized aluminum cap (non locking) to keep stuff from getting into the fuel tank… there was water droplets all over it. There’s no way that this water wouldn’t have eventually made it to the tank. These trucks, especially for the price should have come factory with a complete locking door like pretty much every car since about 1990 has had!

Last week, our son was traveling from Texas to California to visit us for the holiday's. When he arrived, he realized somebody must have stolen his two fuel jugs in the back of his pickup he uses for his equipment.
If the idiots are that stupid, they probably won't even realize it's diesel and put it in the empty gas powered vehicle. I guess they'll get what they deserve...
We had to laugh over a few beers...😀

but I have a 2021 GMC 3500
in the product description, it says Locking diesel and DEF caps combo for 2020-2024 GM/Chevy HD 2500/3500 though.
I wondering if the 2021 and 2023 are interchangable
