I replaced my downpipe this last weekend and when I remove the wheel housing liner I was surprised to see all the crud that collected in the lower fender rocker area.

This is a prime area for rust to start if not cleaned on a regular basis.

Its pretty simple to clean, just remove the 3 lower plastic clips pull the liner out a bit and spray the debri out.

There is a plastic piece behind the liner that needs to be pulled back to clean the area, also open the door and spray the area from the back side.

Yes, I do.

I plan on getting a kit from eastwood someday and undercoat and rust proof my truck.

After seeing the places my '97 rusted Id like to prevent it, and this was on definte problem area.

I think I'm going to have to do the same. You know "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of treatment" (or something like that).
