im getting a 5inch exhaust of some sort and an afe intake, i havent looked too far into it yet. i have no guages so im afraid of the numbers, what more could i do? i also want more power and less smoke. im getting efi live soon and im expecting more smoke than my ppe standard, but want to make it less, would an aftermarket intercooler help that much and is it worth it? im not capable of buying any sort of turbo anytime soon, i am spending that money on a tranny

You don't have to have smoke with EFI....just have a tune made that won't smoke.

my egts are awsome i have a 5" exhaust with a 8" stack stock intake quadzilla tuner and my egts are great

dont worry so much about that crap or youll go crazy

just dont spike over 1500 degress lmao

get guages first, PPE likes to run some serious fuel which means high(er) egt's.

Yeah i was in the same boat....ran a PPE for about a year, never had gauges never had a problem, but once i got EFI i knew it was necessary.

lookin into a down pipe, just need to get my efi, guages and my transmission and i will be done until money pops up again.
that also depends on my egts and stuff though. i want to keep them very low. i need to make this truck last, yet i still want it to be fast if you know what i mean.

remove cat and muffler and do a egr blocker , it will help alot
