If you are worried about noise, do the Diamond Eye kit. The muffler is larger than the MBRP and will not drone as bad. I have several happy customer with the Diamond Eye quiet tone front pipe, mostly retired gentleman with un-happy wifes, and they are on the road quite a bit with the travel trailer. It makes a large difference in drone.

 

Will the Diamond eye with the quiet tone front pipe be any louder than stock? I would definately like to hear it but I just don't want annoying on the highway. How is the quiet tone front pipe different than any other pipe?

Also, who has the best prices on MBRP or diamond eye? Vendors, here's your chance.

 

Yes, definitely louder than stock, just the QT front pipe will do away with most of the resonance created by removing the cat. I'll PM prices

Im running the diamond eye 4 inch duals on my truck with the cat eliminator pipe on my 07 classic and i love it. It whistles just enough untill you nail the throttle then it gets kinda roudy. There is really no drone while goin down the highway either

 

I have the Diamond eye on the LMM and the LBZ they are not loud at all.

 

just an update; I ended up with the 4" turbo back with the quiet tone front (diamond eye) and loved it. I used the extra pipe that they send (used in long bed trucks I assume) and made a muffler delete pipe. My truck is now straight piped and my mileage went to crap. It went to crap because I can't keep my foot out of it. Love making those exhaust tunes; so much for quiet.

 

Bring that thing down this weekend for the cookout. I want to take a ride and see how it sounds running down the road. Caleb wants to go too. It sounds good from outside the truck.

 

I put a diamond eye with quiet tone on my truck with a straight pipe. IT sounds awsome. i had the muffler on first, but the drone was killin me. Took it off and sometimes the truck sounds more quiet than stock. I love it.
