Based on what I've read on this site. Of the Mobil products, only Mobile Delvac synthetic atf fluid is approved by Allison for the 1000 transmission.

I'm out of Omaha Ne.

I plan on eventually doing a total rebuild. but it may be 6-12 months. I guess that will be one thing I won't need then!

An suggestions where I could get the Delvac cheap? or cheaper then hitting O'rielly's.

Try your Mobile distributor. They may sell to you, mine did, but I'm in SC.

Or, they should be able to tell who their retail sellers are.

Transynd/mobil delvac is the only fluid approved in the Alison for extended drain intervals. The mobil 1 atf will be fine for 25000 miles changes though. I wouidnt hesitate to us it, especially if I had 6 cases..!
