Has anyone changed out the factory muffler for a free flow without changing out the pipes? I'm considering a 4" cat back but after looking at the stock vs. 4" there isn't much difference. Looks like less than 1/2" probably 3/8". I'd hate to waste the $$ for a complete cat back if a muffler swap do.

We still have emissions tests. I don't want to change them out every two or three years. Besides, I got rid of my Cummins because it was loud. I can't imagine the sound of a straight through.

yeah we dont have any test here so in that case i dont know i guess i would do 4 cat back

Straight piped wont be nearly as loud as your dodge. our trucks are quiet
