1- 10k? not sure if real low miles its worth more, i just paid 31k for one with 18 k on it, was it worth it . I dont know but you dont find good used dmaxes with 18k on it very often?
2 no one really knows why the 2 gens get lower mpg but probally mostly due to the more restrictive turbo housing, higher fueling rate to get the extra power for the lly, egr valve raising intake temps, and the cat making more back pressure.
3- yes all autos, except in express vans, are allisons!
