Sounds like you have air in the master cylinder. Some are a Bitch-- try bleeding again and see if you can get a better pedal. I just went through this with my Ford Ranger "Ranch Truck". The master cylinder sits at an angle on the firewall and had a pocket of air- after running a LOT of fluid, and pressure bled -- it was no better. Finally pulled the snap ring, and piston out a little--- fluid and air came out-- put it back together, and it is now OK.
