Replaced the OEM Transmission Cooler with a PPE Bar & Plate Cooler, and Discovered this.

The crushed ledge that wasn't noticeable until Grill removal was there long enough to cause damage to the Intercooler.

That was my 1st choice,
For years I've always thought that when the Day came to replace the CAC I would install the Banks system.
But then I seen the 3" Aluminum Pipes that Mishimoto offers & 4 New boots.

I am a Banks Fan

there might be a reason for the reduction. They love to add flow and maximize air density and flow.

they other is also stand up. I just like Banks more

If your damaged unit was not leaking under pressure, no need to replace it.

Now now. Air flow was impacted and all must be replaced now.

this is a good reason and time to do it all
Ahhhh - you like spending someone else's money! Why not go for the more expensive Banks setup? The $1829 setup with the nice red boost tubes??

Money isn't an issue, I don't run a Low Budget Operation.

I prefer Quality Built Parts and Upgrades.
But that's not with out saying, if a vender offers the same Apple to Apples parts for substantially less, they'll usually get the sale.

The Aluminum piping (NO RUST) caught my eye with the Mishimoto, & they provide all
4 silicone hose couplings
&
8 T-Bolt clamps.
.
Not sure how well the Mishimoto intercooler piping is for the finished fitment ?

I have the Stainless Banks 4"Monster downpipe back exhaust system installed & Banks fitment is Excellent!

The Steel Banks intercooler piping has me concerned with the powder coat chipping peeling & rusting,
I also don't like Red

There's no hesitation of running the Banks Techi-Cooler by its self with some else's 3"pipes.

But was curious if anyone had personal experience with Mishimoto intercooler.

I've decided that I'll be using the Banks Replacement Cooler # 25976-1
Rectangle Gas Font Electric blue Musical instrument

with the Mishimoto Intercooler piping # MMICP-DMAX-02BK

I'm thinking this will be a Great Combination of Quality Parts !

Not terrible. Hell even a China cooler from Spectra Premium (hah!) is over 600 bux on RA. Didn't see an OE or USA option.
