Ok I think I have a crappy battery already in my 09 not sure how long batteries normally last but its sounding very weak after sitting overnight.. After starting the meter is reading about 10 volts not sure what battery but was gonna replace both.. What is the best battery for our trucks? Are the Optima any good? Don't mind spending the extra money if they will last and with a warranty!

Sounds more like a charging problem. You might want to charge up the batteries first and retest the voltage. You're looking for around 14 volts at fast ideal a battery can hold the charging system down but it's rare.
